Lubbers Grassfed Beef
The evidence continues to mount: grassfed meats are better. They have much higher levels of omega-3 fatty acids and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), and much lower levels of listeria, e-coli and other pathogens. Additionally, and at least as importantly, they taste better. Our beef is entirely grass fed—no grain. They get fresh green grass in summer when they are rotationally grazed (moved daily) on pastures that are free of pesticides, herbicides and synthetic fertilizers. In the winter they are fed hay. They are never given growth hormones, estrogens or antibiotics. These cows are born here in West Michigan and are fed grasses from here. Our meat is sold only locally.
