Lubbers Grassfed Beef
The evidence continues to mount:  grassfed meats are better.  They have much higher levels of omega-3 fatty acids and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), and much lower levels of listeria, e-coli and other pathogens.  Additionally, and at least as importantly, they taste better.  Our beef is entirely grass fedno grain.  They get fresh green grass in summer when they are rotationally grazed (moved daily) on pastures that are free of pesticides, herbicides and synthetic fertilizers.  In the winter they are fed hay.  They are never given growth hormones, estrogens or antibiotics.  These cows are born here in West Michigan  and are fed grasses from here.  Our meat  is sold only locally.

Grassfed Lamb
Sheep are ruminants like beef.  Our lambs are born here in Michigan and raised on a friend’s farm.  They are not given any grain, hormones or antibiotics.  They graze on untreated pastures with plenty of room to frolic in the sun and rain.  The lamb we offer is born in the spring and butchered in the fall, so their entire diet is mother’s milk and fresh summer grass.  Lamb is an especially nutritious choice, full of flavor.

Our meats are offered for sale through an annual newsletter that includes pricing and an order form. You can download the newsletter or e-mail us with your contact information. We’ll add you to our mailing list.
